They don’t give that out easily, so when it happens it feels earned. One second they’re just sitting there, the next they’re fully purring because of you. Hard not to feel a little chosen in that moment.

Maybe it was the angle, maybe it was the pressure. You keep going, hoping to hear that sound kick in again. It’s ridiculous how fast you go from relaxed to fully focused. Once the purr stops, you’re not done until it’s back.
